Important Update: No More Library Fees!

Dear Friends,

EMORG is proud to announce that as of this month, we are abolishing the annual library usage fees we previously charged our young patrons. While the fees were neither substantial nor mandatory, the entirety of money gathered from students was used for book maintenance and retention. For primary school students, the fee was 2,500 Tsh, about 1.5 USD;  for secondary school students, 3,500 Tsh, about 2.2 USD (you can see this explanation in our very first post).

However, as a part of our mission to provide education for all, and given the generosity of donors, we have been able to set aside an amount of money to be used exclusively for book retention and which for some time will meet our needs in this regard. That being said, the operational costs of running a free library add up, and we certainly will continue to require help from our kind donors. Every donation goes to ensuring that children in Kisongo are provided with the resources they need to succeed.

Thanks for staying up to date with EMORG! We couldn't do it without our loyal friends.

Best,

The EMORG Team
